‘प्लास्टिक टीक ना पाये रे..’

World Paper Bag Day was observed on 12th July 24 in PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri. A special assembly was conducted by our Green Army soldiers of Grade VI under the guidance of Pratiksha Parshekar teacher. The aim was to spread awareness of the harmful impact of plastic on our environment and promote paper bag usage. Paper bags are the perfect eco-friendly alternative to non-biodegradable plastic bags. On this occasion, Master Shlok Karande gave a speech on the worldwide celebration of Paper Bag Day, Miss Kirti Gupta explained the ecological benefits of using paper bags over plastic bags. Master Kshitij Shinde recited the poem ‘POLYBAGS’.
Students of grade VII Miss Nivida Mondkar, Miss Ritika Savardekar, and Miss Hrithika Zore presented an impactful song ‘प्लास्टिक टीक ना पाये रे..’
Students of grades V, VI, VII, and VIII and the teachers enthusiastically prepared and decorated attractive paper bags using old newspapers, wrote slogans, and handed over the paper bags to them for use over the plastic bags.
