ANNUAL SPORTS MEET 2024
PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri experienced action-packed, fun-filled, exciting, and thrilling finish line moments in their Annual Sports Meet on 16th February 2024. National Volleyball Player Shri. Aashish Pandit was the Chief Guest of the event. PTVA Director Shri. Pramod Lele graced the occasion with his presence.
The day observed an auspicious beginning by seeking the blessings of Lord Hanuman, followed by the hoisting of the school flag, lighting of the sports torch, and declaration of the meet open by the Chief Guest. A spectacular March Past the four houses led by the House Commanders was followed by the Oath-taking ceremony with the Sports Teacher Shri. Akshay Dighe pledging to uphold the honour and the spirit of true sportsmanship. It was a visual treat for the audience as they witnessed breathtaking displays by the budding gymnasts and rope skippers. Thrilling flat running races were followed by fun-filled sack races, obstacle races, lemon n’ spoon, and book balancing races. The first set of prizes was given away by the Chief Guest Shri Pandit and PTVA Director Shri Lele. The Parents’ Game was quite recharging as the little ones cheered their parents up for participating. Standard-wise Sports Champions were announced and felicitated with medals and certificates. Master Aaradhya Kanade bagged the shield as the Boys’ Champion and Miss Ira Sawant was declared as the Girls’ Champion.
After the vote of thanks, the whole gathering with immense pride sang the national song which marked the splendorous end of the day.
