Celebrating Foundation – The Cornerstone of our History
PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri celebrated its 7th Foundation Day on 21st June 2023. It was a special day as the school had a chance to reflect not only on the beginnings of this school and its founders but also on the significant development since the school’s inception.
The event was graced by the presence of PTVA Director Shri Pramod Lele and Chief Coordinator of PTVA schools and colleges, Madam Janhavi Khandekar, who made an auspicious beginning to the event by garlanding the idol of Lord Ganesha and the idol of the inspiration Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, Lokmanya Tilak.
Shri Pramod Lele motivated the students to visit the school after 25-50 years as proud alumni and become good citizens of the nation. Madam Janhavi referred students to as “Cells of the Body” – ‘body’ being the school and ‘cells’ playing specialized functions.
The school principal Mrs. Mrinalini Mhetre emphasized the importance of keeping oneself updated and keeping the flag of the school flying high by being empathetic, outgoing, and dynamic, while Miss Aarti Halbe shared her experiences as a founder teacher.
Tanisi Kapoor (Class 7th A) and Nidhi Khamkar (Class 6th A) expressed their feelings towards the school through their speeches.
Suryanamaskar (Sun Salutation) performed by the students of class 7th was appreciated by the dignitaries.
The programme culminated with a promise and assurance that the students and teachers, with the support of parents, would keep setting new benchmarks with every passing year and strive to strengthen the school’s proud legacy with even more enhanced performance.
