Hindi – Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association English Medium School, Andheri on 7 September 2016.
Hindi teacher Radhika Gupta in a program organized at the school as a speech on the importance of Hindi language and role of Hindi in preserving our national identity. He stated that on 14 September 1949 the Constitution decided that Hindi would be the official language of the central government. Hindi-Divas is celebrated every year from 2075 to all over India to render the importance of the same decision and to disseminate Hindi in each region. Vyuhar Rajendra Singh tried tirelessly to establish Hindi as an official language after the independence, Kaka Kalelkar, Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Seth Govinddas etc. The program was started by offering flowers to Shri Vyauhar Rajendra Singh ji whose birthday is on September 15.
Students of class fifth, sixth and seventh participated enthusiastically in the Hindi-Day program. Many programs were organized on the occasion of Hindi-Day, including Inter House Quiz Competition. Which included questions based on Hindi grammar. Red House’s devotees Suyog Prashant (Class-Seventh) and Mondkar Nivida Nilesh (Class – Chhath-Ba) got first place by showing their intelligence in this competition. Kapoor Tanisi Pinky (Class-Seventh) and Gupta Ditya Anand (Class Six-B) got second place from Blue House.
Drama presented by the students of class 6th and seventh – Dialogue based and other important topics by class 5th to seventh through Role Play, like ‘Water is Life. ‘The importance of tree’ and ‘the importance of technology’ were depicted. Along with this, the students of class 5th and sixth presented poems depicting the love of Hindi language and the teachers presented the vocabulary of their subjects in Hindi.
Some students of seventh standard presented doha and the program was concluded with the story “Fruit of Labor” presented by Gondal Unnati (Class 6th-A).
