Tribute to Kranti-Jyoti Savitribai Phule : A Pioneer of Women’s Empowerment
Today, on Balika Divas (3rd January 2025), PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri paid tribute to the legendary Kranti-Jyoti Savitribai Phule, a trailblazing social reformer who dedicated her life to empowering women and marginalized communities.
The day was celebrated by offering floral tribute to Savitribai in a special assembly held in the school hall. Her remarkable contributions to women’s empowerment were remembered through speeches, poems, songs and an AV programme. Asst. teacher Miss Radhika Gupta was supported by Music teacher Mrs. Kaavya Rane in conducting this assembly.
Savitribai’s memory was honored by reaffirming our commitment to education, equality and social justice.
