WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY

Students of PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri pledged to protect Mother Earth as they celebrated World Nature Conservation Day on July 28 th, 2023 with full zeal and enthusiasm. The oath to conserve our environment for a
sustainable future was given by Kshitij and Manswi Patkure (Grade VII) in a special assembly conducted to raise awareness about environmental hazards, preserving measures, and the importance of protecting nature for generations
to come.
Under the guidance of the programme in charge Pratiksha Parshekar teacher, the students of Grade VI prepared beautiful, eloquent posters giving a messageto reflect on our actions, make positive changes, and contribute to the well-
being of our planet. A picturesque display of these posters put up by the Art teacher Ashwini Naravane was highly appreciated by the viewers.
Medhansh Nair (Grade VI) delivered a speech about the significance of World Nature Conservation Day. The importance of water conservation was explained by Jay Bandivdekar (Grade VI) while Tanisi Kapoor (Grade VII) spoke about the
importance of tree plantation and the ill effects of deforestation.
A harmonious group song ‘इंसान हो तुम, प्रकृति हम | हम है तो तुम हो, तुम हो तो हम ||’ presented by Deetya Gupta, Atharv Devan, Nivida Mondkar, Pranjal Girkar, Aarvi Salian, and Arpita Mananti was impactful as it inspired the audience to
build a wealthier environment.
