The biography of Shivaji Maharaj is adorned with great victories, full of valor and wonder, as auspicious as that of Ramayana. The way Bhima avenged Draupadi’s humiliation by Dusshsan, the same way Shivaji Maharaj valiantly vanquished the distress among people. A perfect example of vision, courage, justice, and love toward his subjects, Shivaji Maharaj founded the Maratha empire in adverse conditions and built a foundation for a just Hindu nation. He is also called जाणता राजा which means A Cognizant King PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri paid tribute to the great Maratha King Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj on his birth anniversary with an array of cultural programmes like the naming ceremony of Bal-Shivaji, role play of Veermata Jeejabai, Narveer Tanaji Malusare, and the mighty Mughal Sardar Afzal Khan, a thrilling skit depicting the bravery of Murarbaji Deshpande, a cheerful presentation of Powada portraying the intelligence of Shivaji Raje while escaping from the testing situation during the siege of the Panhala fort, and the royal Coronation ceremony of Shivaji Raje. The fabulous programme ended with an oath of discipline, hard work, punctuality, and patriotism given to the students followed by traditional melodious Aarti of Shivaji Raje.
