World Water Day 2023 is about accelerating change to solve the water and sanitation crisis.
Focusing on increasing awareness of the importance of water, World Water Day was observed on 22nd March 2023 at PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri.
The significance of the day was explained to the students in a speech by Mihika Kulkarni teacher. The speech highlighted the value of fresh water in the ecosystem, important water resources and measures to protect them from pollution, and practices for the economic use of water for a sustainable future.
The speech was followed by a water pledge (जल-प्रतिज्ञा) taken by all the students and teachers.
There was a display of posters made by the students on the occasion, appealing to all to join hands in preserving one of the most precious resources of our planet, that is WATER.
