Navratri Celebrations and Saraswati Puja

PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri celebrated Navratri and Saraswati Puja with great fervor and devotion. The nine-day festival, dedicated to the worship of Goddess Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati, was marked by various rituals and cultural events arranged by programme in charge Mrs. Suchitra More who highlighted the cultural significance of Navratri celebrations across the country through her speech.

The highlight of the celebration was the Saraswati Puja, where students and teachers gathered to worship the Goddess of Knowledge. The puja was conducted with traditional rituals, including the offering of flowers, sweets, and prayers. Mrs. Charita Kulkarni was the in charge teacher for this programme who emphasized the importance of knowledge, art, and culture in our lives through her speech.

Students participated in various cultural events, such as music, dance, and role play showcasing their talents and creativity. The events were designed to promote the values of knowledge, art, and culture.

The school premises were beautifully decorated for the occasion which created a festive atmosphere. The celebration aimed to encourage students to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati for academic success and artistic pursuits.

The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to preserving and promoting Indian culture and traditions.
