Little Stars, Big Smiles: Children’s Day 2025

The students and staff of PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri celebrated Children’s Day with great enthusiasm to honor the spirit of childhood and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their talents, enjoy fun activities, and remember the importance of education and happiness in a child’s life.
In the morning assembly, the Principal Mrs. Mrinalini Mhetre garlanded the photograph of Pandit Nehru and offered tribute. She greeted the students on Children’s Day, quoted Nehruji’s words “Children are like buds in a garden”, and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to their blooming to the fullest potential.
The students of Std. 1 to 4 participated in a theme-based Fancy Dress competition while the students of Std. 5 to 9 displayed their fabulous talents in singing, dances, mimicry, instrumental music, and even in rope mallakhamb. This event was greatly supported by the parents. The innovative and thoughtfully crafted props prepared by them were appreciated by the judges and the audience.
Winners of the competitions were given prizes and appreciation certificates.
The day was celebrated with fun, gratitude and renewed commitment of the school to building a world where every child can learn, grow and shine!
