Republic Day Celebration at PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri

January 26, 2026 – PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri, celebrated the Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism.

The school premises were decorated with beautiful craftwork by the students done on the occasion, including the Indian national flag and colourful posters, creating a festive atmosphere.

The day began with unfurling of the national flag by the Chief Guest- PTVA Director Shri Pramod Lele, accompanied by the Principals Mrs. Mrinalini Mhetre (PTVA’s EMS, Andheri), Shri Ganpat Hakke (Paranjape Vidyalaya) Sr. teacher Shri Koli (Paranjape Vidyalaya, Primary section), teaching and non-teaching staff and students.

The national anthem was sung by all. The Chief Guest addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of patriotism and civic responsibility. The band squad, led by Master Khsitij Shinde (Std VIII) entertained the audience with marching and musical performances, followed by patriotic group songs performed by the students and teachers.

An announcement of the launching of Digital Darpan (a Newsletter of all PTVA schools) was made on the occasion.

Later, the school Band Squad performed at the Republic Day celebration hosted by Andheri Police Station at the Andheri Courts Bar Association. The event was graced by Ho. Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Smt. G. D. Nirmale, as the Chief Guest. The school was honored with a trophy, and the students received certificateds of appreciation, presented by the Chief Guest.

The celebration was a grand success, reflecting the school’s commitment to fostering national pride and unity.
