Ram Navmi Celebration
Celebrating Ram Navmi with Devotion and Values…

PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri, celebrated Ram Navami with great fervor and devotion. The event honored the birth of Shree Ram and aimed to instill values of truth, righteousness, and respect among students.
The program commenced with a sacred ritual of lamp lighting and puja of Prabhu Shri Ram, with a devotional prayer setting a serene tone for the celebration. रामरक्षा कवच was recited and its significance was explained by Sanskrit Teacher Mrs. Swati Bapat. This was followed by a heartwarming Marathi enactment by Master Rugved Barve (Class 2A) depicting the squirrel’s contribution to building the bridge to Lanka, highlighting the importance of every small effort. Master Sanil Bawankar (Class 5A) narrated the life of Shree Ram, covering his journey from birth to victory over Ravana. The atmosphere turned spiritual with the soulful rendition of “Mere Ghar Ram Aayenge”, by Master Kaivalya Gokarnakar (class 5B) Master Shlok Kurulkar and Master Durvesh Shinde (both of class 6B) who were guided by the Music teacher Shri Shreekrishna Chauvan. Programme in charge teacher Mrs. Harshada Mulmule delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to follow Shree Ram’s ideals and values. She emphasized the importance of honesty, discipline, and kindness, urging teachers to guide students in building strong moral character.
The event featured a beautiful display of images of Shree Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman, and the Shree Ram temple at Ayodhya, adding to the festive ambiance. The celebration successfully inspired students to embrace the teachings of Shree Ram, promoting goodness, unity, and devotion.
