National Science Day 2026
To mark National Science Day 2026, PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri organized an array of events spanned over week with the aim of nurturing scientific temper and curiosity among the students.
A Science Quiz was conducted for Std VI to IX, which encouraged logical thinking and application of scientific concepts. Students were also asked to prepare reports based on scientific activities, helping them develop observation and writing skills. A documentary on the life and work of Marie Curie was screened to inspire students through her remarkable contribution to science.
In compliance with experiential learning, an educational visit was organized to the Nehru Science Centre and Nehru Planetarium, where students explored scientific exhibits and astronomy shows with great enthusiasm.
For Std I to V, the teachers and students participated in demonstration of science experiments, making learning joyful and interactive. The young learners observed simple experiments with excitement and curiosity.
An exhibition of Science Books and the display gallery highlighting the theme of the year – ‘Women In Science: Catalyzing Viksit Bharat’ was appreciated by the vievers.
The celebration successfully created awareness about the importance of science in everyday life and inspired students across all sections to think scientifically.
