Protecting Our Planet’s Wildlife

PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri observed the World Wildlife Day with great enthusiasm. The event themed “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage, and Livelihoods,” brought to life the significance of these incredible resources through a range of engaging activities.

Students of grade III showcased their impressive awareness about the wildlife in a Quiz Competition, while students of grade V indulged in a soothing aromatherapy session with fragrant Mogra garlands, melting stress away.

Programme in charge teacher Miss Kajal Bhise delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of conserving wildlife and our natural heritage. The display board decked up to showcase aromatic flowers like Mogra, Rose, Jasmine, Champa, Hibiscus, and medicinal herbs like Amla, Ginger, Mint, Ashwagandha, Shatavari, Turmeric, etc. alongside their versatile products, further highlighted the immense benefits these plants offer.

The event aimed to raise awareness about the conservation of wildlife, their significant use in our lives and the protection of biodiversity.
