An exhibition of Sanskrit projects was arranged at PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri by the students of Std 8 under the guidance of the Sanskrit teacher Mrs. Swati Bapat. The exhibition aimed at improving the Sanskrit vocabulary of the students as they learned Sanskrit names of various exhibits right from vegetables like onion (पलाण्डुः), ginger (शुण्ठी), garlic (लशुनः), kitchen utensil like a plate (स्थालिका), a spoon (चमसः), a pot (कलशः) to stationery articles like a geometry box (ज्यामिति पेटिका), a chalk (सुधाखण्डः), a protractor (कोणमापिनी), etc.

Principal Mrs. Mrinalini Mhetre appreciated the display and the efforts of the students. Students of standard seven and six also visited the exhibition. It was a successful attempt of weaving the element of joy into authentic and meaningful learning experience for the students, in compliance with Project-based, Art integrated learning suggested by the New Education Policy 2020.
