NEP 2020 recommends integration of Indian Art and Culture for the development of students, teachers and educators. The 4th Day of the Shiksha Saptah (Thursday 25-07-24) is dedicated as a Cultural Day in all the schools across India to promote and celebrate the rich cultural diversity and heritage in our country.
PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri explored the cultural components like different languages, costumes, food, art, dances, songs, etc from different parts of the country where students’ talent could be nurtured and showcased along with joyful learning.
The Cultural Day proved to be a gateway for the students, teachers and parents to learn more about our roots, thus enriching their minds, enhancing their thirst for knowledge and hence achieving the recommendations of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
