Embracing Tradition: Gudhi Padwa celebration at school…

PTVA’s English Medium School, Andheri celebrated Gudhi Padwa, a significant festival marking the beginning of the new year in Maharashtra, with great enthusiasm and cultural fervor.

The day began with traditional Gudhi Poojan, followed by a speech on the occasion by the programme in charge teacher Mrs. Charita Kulkarni. In her speech, she highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra and other states in India while they celebrate Gudhi Padwa. The display board was decked up with vibrant and beautiful posters made by the students which showcased the greetings and best wishes on the festival and the New Year.

The celebration promoted cultural awareness and unity among students, fostering a sense of community and respect for traditions. Overall, the event was a resounding success, reflecting the school’s commitment to preserving cultural heritage.
