The students of Microbiology of Sathaye College interacted with the students of Std VIII of PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri on 11 th December 2024. The session aimed at creating awareness about Microbiology among the students. The campaign included presentation of a series of posters and models that would explain the basics of microbiology, as well as its applications in medicine, biotechnology and food science. Also, various career options in microbiology were discussed in the session. The students had hands-on opportunities to learn about microbiology through small demonstrations.
