National Science Day 2025
National Science Day is celebrated in PTVA’s English medium School, Andheri with great enthusiasm and zeal, aiming to inspire students to develop a scientific temperament and curiosity. The programme began with paying tribute to Indian Physicist Dr C.V. Raman. In her speech Science teacher Miss Sneha Dhasade explained the significance of the day and the discovery of Raman Effect.
On this occasion the SciPhy team of students from the Physics Department of Sathaye College showcased various experiments like surface tension of water using pins, conservation of energy using marbles as a pendulum, atmospheric pressure using balloon and conical flask, meteorite using dry ice, Lissajous figures using laser and tuning fork, etc. In addition, students of class 6,7 and 8 demonstrated various Science experiments. This event was a step for preparing students to become the innovators and leaders of tomorrow.
